Option - Surfactant powder interaction (SPI)

This SPI option includes a device that can adapt to the Tracker and quantifies the interaction of a powder with surfactant.
Effectiveness of the interaction is quantified by the variation of the CMC, as compared to the same measurement without the powder.

Device of cell interaction and electronic cabinet

Principle

The surfactant solution in the Tracker cell is taken and sent into the cell interaction which the liquid passes through the column powder. It is then rejected into the Tracker cell. The speed of the liquid circulation is adjusted by the circulation pump.

Technical characteristics

• The SPI's materials are:

- Cell interaction: Stainless steel 316L and/or PEEK.
- Connectors: PEEK and ETFE
- Frits: Stainless steel
- Pumping needle: Stainless steel

• Instrument dimensions:

- The cell interaction section: 120 * 40 * 40 mm,
- The electronic cabinet: 90 * 205 * 200 mm.

• Operating temperature rang is from room temperature to 90°C.
